1- BEING SINGLE ALLOWS YOU TO EXPLORE YOURSELF BETTER

Having a partner is something that many wish for. However, sometimes, we might get carried away by our partner, which makes us not give enough attention to ourselves. Spending time alone, on the other hand, is a good way to get to know sides of your personality and try to improve them. Being single will give you enough opportunities to know your core values, the things that make you happy or sad, the people who are priceless in your life, etc.

2- BEING SINGLE ALLOWS YOU TO BE COMFORTABLE BEING ALONE

A person needs to learn to be alone. However, keep in mind that being alone is not the same thing as being lonely. Doing things by yourself is empowering and it can open many doors in front of you, making you more independent and able to finish tasks only people who are comfortable working alone can finish them. Society tends to shame people who do things alone and categorize as bad or embarrassing, however, this shouldn’t be considered as doing things alone is positive rather than negative.

Sometimes, in a relationship, you get caught in a routine of activities that you keep on repeating, without trying new things. Also, your partner might not share some interests with you, which keeps you from discovering some interests you had but did not know about. For this reason, if you are single, rejoice about this as you will be able to get to know your interests better, and have to chance to live them. Get out of your comfort zone and try many things, and decide which one suits, you. This way, if you get in a relationship, you can share these with your partner.

4- BEING SINGLE ALLOWS YOU TO PUT YOURSELF AS A PRIORITY

When you are single, you do not need to compromise for anyone. You are the only person in your life, and you can do whatever it takes to make yourself happy. The same applies for when you are in a relationship, however, in this case, you do not need to feel guilty for when your partner compromises or broken-hearted for when no one decides to compromise and you end up breaking up.

5- YOU CAN EXPLORE POTENTIAL PARTNERS AS MUCH AS YOU CAN

Most relationships are about exclusivity. However, being single allows you to stay open for as many choices as you would like. You can be with different people, whether friends or dates, without anyone taking most of your time and attention. So enjoy being single as much as you can!
