6 THINGS THAT WILL MAKE YOU HAPPIER AND LESS STRESSED

The crisis the world is going through is making us all stressed and uncomfortable right now. You might be feeling that your relationships, finances and health are at risk, and you’re not only unhappy but also much stressed. If you are trying to find solutions to be happier and less stressed, the following are 6 things that you need to apply every day.

1- GIVE TIME FOR THINGS TO GO WRONG DURING YOUR DAY

Do not expect everything to go perfectly well all the time. When you are putting a daily plan, make sure to include some time for things to go wrong, as they will. Train yourself to expect some things to go wrong. This way you won’t feel as upset as you usually do.

2- HAVE A POSITIVE MANTRA AND REPEAT IT

3- DO NOT DWELL ON THE PAST OR THE FUTURE, BUT LIVE IN THE PRESENT

Thinking of the past can lead to experiencing sadness and negativity while anticipating the future too much can fill you up with worries. Try your best to stay in the present and keep your mind from losing control. During the pandemic, you can think of the things that you are able to do in order to protect your health, such as washing your hands and staying at home. Instead of thinking too much of the future and what is coming up, try to think of some ways in which your life can change for the better. Find strategies to improve yourself and become a better person after the crisis then you were before it.

4- BE ACTIVE

In all the articles we wrote about how to cope with the COVID19 crisis, we mentioned exercising and being active. In fact, exercising is very beneficial to reduce the chances of getting depression and anxiety. Workout outside or inside your house for at least 30 minutes per day to see results.

5- EAT THE RIGHT FOOD

Comfort foods might be very tempting but avoiding them has more benefits for you. Not consuming these foods (ice cream, pizza, cookies, etc.), or consuming them in a very low quantity, can ease and help you avoid feeling anxiety, worry and negativity. To help your brain function well, consume only healthy food during this period of emergency, to balance your blood sugar, and be in control of your moods and mental health.
