Instead of being dependent on these drinks, limit them or switch to healthier alternatives such as water, vegetable juice or unsweetened drinks. Also avoid drinks that have Aspartame in them, because it also has negative effects on your brain.

In fact, these carbs have a high glycemic index which leads your body to digest them quickly leading to an increase of blood sugar as well and insulin. These kinds of foods have the ability to damage brain function. They can harm your memory, making it hard for you to remember details. This could be due to an inflammation of the hippocampus, a part of the brain that has an effect on hunger, and memory.

You sure have consumed these foods at least a few times in your life, they include instant noodles, microwaved popcorn, some ready-made sauces, sweets, and chips. They cause weight gain, which affects your brain’s tissues. A study has shown that processed foods could develop degenerative brain diseases and could lead to Alzheimer’s. Another way this food could negatively affect your brain is by producing less brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) which could impact learning, long-term memory and the growth of new neurons.

4- FOODS RICH IN TRANS FAT

Trans fats that are industrially produced, have negative effects on your brain. They have the potential of impairing your memory and rising your risk of Alzheimer's. While the indications are not sufficient, it is still recommended to stay away from this type of food.
