Many people wish they were successful at multitasking in order to get more work done in less time. While a lot are able to study, listen to music and make phone calls at the same time, many are not able to read and brush their hair in one go. Science says that our brain is not built to multitask. In fact, giving them a lot of information or many things to do, slows them down. Furthermore, the conclusion of an MIT study by the neuroscientist Earl Miller states that people who think they are multitasking are in fact switching from one task to another very fast.
